D. Western Therapeutics Institute, Inc. (DWTI) is a biotechnology (bio-venture) company founded in February 1999, to bring innovative drugs to the world.

In a long-term series of processes of drug discovery, development and commercialization, they require a large financial resources, involves numerous people. DWTI is a unique biotechnology company focused on the discovery of novel small molecule compounds.

Our key technology, we call it a “drug discovery engine”, is knowledge and know-how about protein kinases which play an important role in the intercellular messenger system which regulate biological functions of various organism. With this drug discovery engine, we discovered our product pipelines such as K-134 (anti-platelet) and K-115 (anti-glaucoma), which are currently under clinical studies by our partner pharmaceutical company.
